Impact & Risks

The worsening air quality poses significant health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions. The onset of winter and increased pollution levels have also reduced visibility in the mornings, potentially affecting daily commutes and outdoor activities. The Delhi government has implemented its Winter Action Plan to mitigate pollution, including restrictions on construction and demolition activities and staggered office timings.
